You will need:
15 oz can of chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans
1 clove of chopped garlic
1 lemon
salt
2 tbsp. tahini (sesame seed paste)
2 tbsp. olive oil
pita bread pita chips, crackers, or vegetables
a colander
a food processor, blender or a potato masher
a bowl
olives, red peppers, or chili peppers
garnish of parsley, pine nuts, or diced garlic
